On August 24th ’09 it was announced that Littlewoods Ireland would take over the sponsorship of the ever popular and long running TV soap, Coronation Street.
Ogilvy & Mather developed a series of 10 and 5 second stings to flank all ad breaks of the shows four days a week on two TV channels – TV3 and 3e.
This is Littlewoods Irelands first major above the line campaign in the Republic of Ireland. We needed to create impact and memorabilty.
Our campaign concept ‘The Secrets Out’ was designed to create intrigue and buzz around the brand, encouraging women to go online and check out the Littlewoods Ireland website.
The ‘secret’s out’ implies that Ireland’s best-kept fashion secret is now well and truly out, and that women everywhere have cottoned on to the fact that if they are looking for gorgeous fashion that it is a mere click away.
