Lucozade Sport has been Ireland’s number one sports drink for over 12 years, with success built on communications that fused the science credentials of the brand with the passion of sports men and women.
In 2009, a new campaign was developed for Lucozade Sport. It’s aim was to convey the leadership of the product and its benefits in a way that would be compelling to athletes of all levels. In-depth research conducted with athletes, combined with analysis of the endurance benefits of Lucozade Sport, gave rise to the ‘Last 15 minutes’ message. This idea strikes a chord with amateurs just as much as it does with professionals. Every sports person has stories of highs, and of lows, in the last 15 minutes. They can all relate to the difference endurance makes in their concentration, and in their performance. Our creative device allows athletes and trainers from all of Ireland’s biggest sports to bring these stories to life, in their own words and in a way that is hugely engaging to athletes and to fans alike.
